Joe, I’m thinking that my response of yesterday to this e-mail about your son Joseph was, somehow, inadequate.  The point I was trying to make is that I know some of what you were feeling.  It’s the kind of thing that comes with being human — the dull ache, the tickle in the heart, that never really goes away.  Many of the memories are good ones.  Be well.  Stop and smell the flowers.  D
